Rolly’s Tavern on the Square was opened on June 8, 2005 by Wendy Meninno Hayes and Rolly Hayes.  The front of the house is managed by Kristen Colella and the kitchen is managed by Chef Hermmerling Mauricio.  Thanks to many loyal customers, Rolly’s is still growing!!

Rolly’s Tavern is a full-service family restaurant. It’s a great place to enjoy a sports game at the bar, a special dinner out, or an easy and fun family dining experience. The menu is an evolving delight, with Rolly adding an occasional recipe. Your feedback on the menu is welcome. Due to popular demand, the Tavern is now open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.

Rolly’s mission is to provide the best dining experience possible for our customers. We buy only the very freshest and best products available and prepare every dish to order. We use zero trans-fat oil in our fryolators to cook the New England seafood classics. The Tavern’s fish is purchased off Boston’s docks and all the meat comes from the same supplier. Consistency is something that you will always find at Rolly’s.

From 2008 through 2020 Rolly’s Tavern was voted “Best Casual Restaurant”, “Best Burger” and “Best Wait staff” by Market Surveys of America. In 2012, the Boston Globe Magazine awarded Rolly’s Tavern the “TOP 45 Sandwiches” award. Stop in and see why!
